Smoke rising, flames blazing, guts on display, blood curdling screams, demons
dancing. No... This is not a haunted house! It is a groundbreaking
stage production which takes you on a journey into Hell.
"Oh Hell No - a revelation of hell", an original production of
Calvary Christian Center's Theatrical Arts Ministry (TAM) opens for it's
fourth year on Wednesday, October 28th, 2009. "Every year it's gotten
bigger and better." declared TAM Director, Lorraine Feltus, "And
even if you think you have seen it before, trust me; you haven't seen
anything yet."
"Oh Hell No"
centers around Pastor Joseph Warren, a passionate, man of God, seeking
direction on how to help his congregation which is under severe
spiritual attack. It chronicles the story of Pastor Joseph and his journey
into the kingdom of hell, led by an angel sent from God. Art imitates
life as vivid characters tell stories of everyday people, under the
control of the cunning, fast-talking devil and his minions.
Expect to hear tales of the philandering husband, unwilling to stop his
"harmless" habit, young rappers declaring music war on one another,
only to find out they will share the same "territory" in the end
due to their lawlessness, politicians who lack integrity and moral fortitude,
and the ties that bind generations in hopelessness, despair and ultimately,
death.
"This production is of
the quality of that which you would see on any traditional stage", says
Calvary Christian Center Pastor, Phillip Goudeaux. "TAM has worked
very hard to bring a production that will touch peoples' hearts, and change
their lives. Everyone should see this play".
Conceived and
debuted in 2006, this production which is part movie - part stage play
features a cast of over 100 demons, principalities and lost souls. It's
witty humor, dazzling special effects and powerful message has attracted
audiences totaling into the thousands. In 2008 alone more than 12,000
attended the production over its five night run. "Not only is "Oh
Hell No" entertaining, but it also changes lives."says Feltus.
From the dramatic set with Satan's throne and fire pits to the
triumphant arrival of Jesus and an angelic host, "Oh Hell No - a
revelation of hell" is a must see.
