Sacramento, CA – Government officials, law enforcement and residents of Sacramento, California, rush to prepare for the start of what is expected to be the most controversial trial in history, which is calendared for Wednesday, April 20. Earlier this year, federal indictments of sedition and treason were made against internationally acclaimed spiritual leader, Jesse Christian. Given the seriousness of Mr. Christian’s alleged crimes and the potential consequential affects of the case, Attorney General Lucinda Williams has elected to try the case, herself, a rare move in federal criminal trials.
Adding to the media frenzy, the defendant is represented by renowned defense attorney Roman, whose name alone draws record-breaking crowds. In effort to control the potential media circus, the presiding judge, Hon. Pricilla Pilate, has ordered limited attendance in the courtroom. However, TrialTV was granted full access to proceedings which will be streamed live to the rest of the world. The trial is expected to run from Wednesday, April 20th, to Sunday, April 24th, started at 7pm each night.
